Being nice matters.
That was the message softball coach Mallory Holtman brought to East Carolina University on Tuesday evening.
Holtman, who coaches at Central Washington University, is best known for her display of sportsmanship during a softball game in 2008. She and fellow CWU Wildcat teammate Liz Wallace carried Western Oregon’s Sara Tucholsky around the bases after Tucholsky tore her ACL while rounding the bases after hitting a home run. (READ MORE…)
