ELLENSBURG — Central Washington University will face a $29.2 million state budget cut in the next biennium under a budget approved by the state Legislature on Wednesday.
The cut reduces state funding for the next two years from $93.2 million to $64 million for the university. Included in the overall $29.2 million reduction is a 3 percent decrease in university wages. The wage reduction won’t apply to people earning less than $2,500 per month and student employees. (READ FULL STORY…)
