ELLENSBURG, Wash. — With all the financial turmoil in Europe, and declining consumer confidence and high food and energy prices closer to home, well-known regional economist John Mitchell answered an important question Tuesday.
Is the United States heading for another recession?
Mitchell’s answer — for now — is no.
