The annual Central Washington University Holiday Gift Project for Ellensburg children is now underway. The Central community views this as a wonderful opportunity to share the holiday spirit with area children. Local agencies, including the Department of Children and Family Services, Headstart/ECEAP, CWU’s Operation Elf, and the Early Childhood Learning Centers in Brooklane and Michaelsen, have provided a list of children in need. The list includes the child’s age, gender, and a gift suggestion.

If you would like to request a specific age, gender, agency, and the type of gift you would like to provide, fill out the form listed on the website. If you have any questions or would like a child selected for you, e-mail or call 963-2111 to participate.

The deadline for delivering the gifts to the President’s Office, Barge 314, is Monday, December 5.

Last year, the CWU campus community sponsored a record 393 children in the community during the annual Holiday Gift Project.
