Camp Fire honors Caryl Morrell for outstanding service | Wenatchee World

Caryl Morrell, the city of Wenatchee’s recreation supervisor, was honored by North Central Washington Camp Fire on Wednesday with a trailblazer award outstanding service to the community.

Since she arrived in the valley in 1991, Morrell has been the driving force behind building a vibrant parks and recreation program for the entire community. Besides taking a leadership role in a wide variety of community events like the Fourth of July fireworks celebration, she has made significant and lasting contributions to serving those with developmental disabilities in the valley.Without a doubt, no one has done more than Morrell in advancing the cause of integrating those individuals.
